WEEK TWO - POST ONE

• Early experiments regarding the nature of gravity revealed brand new aspects to our understanding of physics 
• Galileo dropped two different objects of differing weight from the top of the Tower of Pisa 
• Revealed that weight does not impact the speed at which things fall
• Pendulum experiment interactivity encouraged one to create their own pendulum and see how weight and the length of the tether impacts the oscillation period 
• I was able to predict that the weight on the end of the tether would have no impact on the oscillation speed
• The period of the swing is determined by the length of the tether only 
• Physics are the same everywhere in the universe
• Although the strength of gravity may differ on other planets or in different galaxies, the principles of gravity stay the same
• That fact alone enlightens us as humans to a new path to understanding the nature of reality, allowing us as humans to move forward in that effort
