  • If something couldn't be explained, it would often times just be explained by creating stories for why things happen such as gods or creation stories
  •  Many Greek philosophers' ideas were taken as fact for short times due to the lack of realistic or logical ideas at time of their conception
  • Most influential Greek philosophers had theories regarding the cosmos
  • Aristotle, Plato, Copernicus impacted astrology and people's worldview
  • Aristotelian model remained the standard for astrology and our existence for hundreds of years

  • The model regarded Earth as the center of the universe and everything revolved around it
  • Until Galileo invented the telescope, all astrology was done with the naked eye

  • Tycho Brahe’s observations shattered the Aristotle's theories and corroborated Copernicus’ Sun-centered view of the solar system
